A quarter of Brits would challenge a will

A poll by insurer Direct Line suggests that 24% of Britons would be prepared to contest a loved one’s will if they were unhappy with how the assets were divided.

Figures show that there were more than 8,100 instances of applications to stop wills being acted upon and the proceeds released in 2017, marking a 6% increase on the previous 12 months.

Last week the Independent also highlighted recent research from Co-op Legal Services which shows that one in three people can identify a specific loved one they would not trust to take care of their affairs!
